Guided tour
Our exhibition guides, trained in the detailed presentation and introduction of Festetics Mansion in Dég, by telling interesting stories, are here both to help you and to enrich the time you spend here.
Services available for individual visitors:
The first-floor exhibition area can only be visited as part of a guided tour. The cost of the tickets covers admission to the exhibition and a 50-minute guided tour.
Individuals will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
To inquire about group visits, it is advisable to call +36709517180, prior to your trip.
Individual visitors may find the exhibition guide booklet, available free of charge at the ticket desk, helpful when finding their way around the building. Our booklets with maps will help you navigate the mansion and the surrounding grounds.
Services available for individual groups:
Guided group tours are available at a prearranged time. Requests must be e-mailed to degikastely@nofnkft.hu at least 7 days prior to visiting the mansion.
Guided tours (in Hungarian) for groups (of up to 15 people) should be booked in advance: HUF 10,000 per group
The duration of guided tours is approximately 50 minutes.
A guided tour in a foreign language (German or English) is available on request: HUF 15,000 (booking: degikastely@nofnkft.hu)
Only qualified exhibition guides of our museum can introduce our exhibitions (except for tour guides with a director’s permit). It is the responsibility of the group leader, accompanying teacher, or parent (as well as an external exhibition guide holding a special letter of agreement) to ensure that all members of their group comply with our Visitor Regulations.
